A gentle, restorative workshop designed to support your nervous system, soften stress, and help you come home to your body. Join me for this transformative 90-minute escape, crafted with love, care and your calm at its core.

Whether you’re pregnant, newly postpartum, or somewhere in the wild middle of motherhood—this is your space to exhale, rest, and be held.

What to Expect: In this immersive experience, I'll guide you through a unique blend of therapeutic practices aimed at releasing tension, reconnecting with your body and allowing you to deeply rest.

Somatic Movement: Gentle movement to land in your body and soften tension.

Facial Massage & Acupressure: We’ll delicately massage away your stress, helping you find a state of calm, promoting balance within.

Emotional Stress Release Techniques: Equip yourself with effective techniques to navigate the challenging moments.

Lymphatic Massage: Feel the flow as I guide you through lymphatic massage techniques, a practice known for its detoxifying benefits. Release the built-up tension and allow your body to reset.

Restorative Yoga Nidra: Our journey culminates in a blissful state with 30 minutes of guided deep rest. Immerse yourself in relaxation as you connect with your inner self, cultivating a sense of stillness that resonates long after our session concludes. 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra is in fact the equivalent of two hours sleep!

Why REST? I created REST as a response to the overwhelm I see so many women carrying - especially in motherhood. You don’t need to earn your rest, you’re already worthy of it.

REST is more than a workshop; it's a sanctuary crafted exclusively for women seeking solace from the demands of daily life. My mission is to provide you with a space to unwind, rejuvenate your body, and nurture your inner stillness.

  • Go for comfy and warm. Bring a jumper and wear some socks. As we will be using some facial oil, I recommend coming fresh faced and don’t worry about washing your hair before the class either!

  • This class is intended just for mamas, I completely understand though that you may need to leave the class if your baby needs you and you are welcome to pop out whenever you need to.

The Nest

The Nest is a monthly series of postnatal sessions hosted by postnatal doula Laura (Mama Nurtured) and holistic pediatric nurse Lyns (The Little Hartly Wellness Club). With our wealth of experience and expertise, Laura and Lyns are dedicated to helping mums and mums-to-be navigate the joys and challenges of motherhood with confidence and ease. Each month we invite experts to join us who will add further guidance and support to your pre and postnatal journey. This is a place to find your village.

This month, we are excited to have local pelvic health physiotherapist, Cindy Iffland, joining us to provide expert guidance and support.

What you can expect:

  • Expert Guidance: Our pelvic health physiotherapist, Cindy, will be sharing invaluable knowledge and guidance on various topics related to pre and postnatal health and well-being.

REST

REST is a 90 minute class for mums that focuses on prioritising restorative rest. The class incorporates facial massage, acupressure and lymphatic massage to help get you into a relaxed and peaceful place. A conversation on nutritional support for better sleep. Ending with a deeply relaxing yoga nidra session - the equivalent to two hours of sleep!

Rest is probably the most important part of postnatal recovery. When a woman has grown and birthed a baby, she should get a chance to rest and recover from the process. We all know how exhausting parenthood can be and postnatal fatigue is the most common problem that a woman faces as she adapts to motherhood. Let this be your permission to take some time truly for yourself, to rest, recover and restore. 

This class introduces you to some of the key things you can do at home to initiate rest - getting the right nutrition, techniques to help you relax, and time to focus on you.

This is for any sleep deprived mums who want to find their calm.

Please bring a cosy blanket from home and an eye mask if you’d like.

The Nest is a free monthly drop in for mums and mums-to-be to get support from postnatal doula Laura (Mama Nurtured) and holistic paediatric nurse Lyns (The Little Hartly Wellness Club) on anything postnatal at Alcheme Wellbeing, Surbiton.

A chance to share anything that you might be finding hard right now and to get help where you may need it. A chance for you to ask ‘Is this normal?’ and be given information and support, rather than advice. An opportunity to meet other mums in your local area. A time for you to be held as the mother. A helping hand so you can trust your intuition. A place to find your village.

Some months we will also have other practitioners joining us, such as lactation consultants, osteopaths, women’s health physiotherapists and others for additional support.
